Romans 11:22 is a HEAVY verse. I would like to dig into this deeply. Here's what I have so far:
Romans 11:22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
Leading up to this verse:
V 4: God kept a remnant that did not bow a knee and serve false gods
V 5: A remnant chosen by Grace
V 20: Jews broken off because of their unbelief
(That would also conclude that Gentiles that are not grafted in, are not grafted in because of unbelief)
Would the fallen be those who do not believe?
And
Those potentially being cut off, “not continuing in ‘God’s kindness’”, would that mean they fell away in unbelief?
