Marching Orders for Warriors

The following are proclamation statements supported by Scripture that we should read and meditated upon everyday. I encourage you to pray through these every morning to prepare for the day as you pray back to God that which He commands in His Word through His Apostles by the Holy Spirit.

I will cleanse myself.
2Timothy 2:21  Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
I will make every effort.
2Peter 1:5  For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,
I will do my best.
2Timothy 2:15  Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
I consider myself dead to sin.
Romans 6:11  So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
I will set my mind on righteousness not wickedness.
Colossians 3:1-2  If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
I have departed from iniquity.
2Timothy 2:19  But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity."
I am growing in faith.
Hebrews 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
I will not conform.
Romans 12:2  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
I do not love the world.
1John 2:15-16  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
I will pray continually, deny self, do good, and be thankful.
1Thessalonians 5:15-18 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
I will walk like Jesus. (Faith, Love, Humility, Obedience)
1John 2:6  whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
